Application

Application Procedures

Applicants must find a professor at NTOU who is willing to serve as their supervisor during the research/internship period before submitting the application documents.

We recommend you following these steps to find a suitable supervisor:

[STEP 1]

Browse our Department/Institute List [Link] to find departments related to your current studies or research. You can access each department’s webpage to review the faculty list. Faculty members' personal webpages include information on their research areas, publications, and other details. Carefully evaluate whether their speciality is related to your intended research/internship.

[STEP 2]

Directly contact the potential supervisors via email. It is recommended to provide your CV and research plan for their reference. Discuss your intended research/internship plan in Taiwan and ask for their approval to serve as your supervisor during your stay in Taiwan.

[STEP 3]

Once you receive the professor’s apporval, please contact our exchange coordinator at the Office of International Affairs.  You can reach out at marberthsu@email.ntou.edu.tw or oia@email.ntou.edu.tw.

[STEP 4]

Preparing the required "Application" (as outlined below) as soon as possible and submit them to the Office of International Affairs coordinator at least two months before your research/internship starts.
