1.Check the Visa Type
Residence Visa
Please bring your passport to OIA. We'll help you apply for the Alien Residence Certificate(ARC) online. [Link]
Visitor Visa
You could need to apply for an identity number. Please visit the Immigration Office [Google Map] with your passport and NTOU invitation.
If you have an approval letter from the MOE or NSTC, please bring the copies to Immigration Office as well.
2.Open an Account
Please bring your Alien Residence Certificate(ARC) or Record of ID No. in the Republic of China and personal stamp to apply for your account in Taiwan at the Post Office [Campus Map] at NTOU.
!!If you are a scholarship student, don’t forget to share your ARC/identity number and account number with your supervisor for scholarship transfer.!!
