【News】NTOU Explores Collaboration and Sister School Agreement with Kookmin University

(NTOU News) On August 27, 2024, National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) Dean of International Affairs Yu-Wei Chang visited Kookmin University in South Korea to discuss future collaborations and a potential sister school agreement. The visit was facilitated by Liu Li-Ren, Chairman of DINOS-T International Corporation and an esteemed alumnus of NTOU’s Department of Shipping & Transportation Management.

During the meeting, both institutions explored opportunities for student exchange programs, summer language courses, and other academic partnerships. Both sides expressed strong interest in future cooperation.

Founded in 1946, Kookmin University is a renowned comprehensive university in South Korea, excelling in business, engineering, arts, and social sciences. The meeting was attended by Kookmin University President Seung-Ryul Jeong, Executive Vice President for Student Affairs Hyoung-Jin Kim, and Vice President for International Affairs Seang-Wock Lee.

This visit marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between NTOU and Kookmin University, aiming to expand academic exchanges and cooperation.
