繼去年150人大型參訪團及18位短期實習生來台交流後，國立臺灣海洋大學（以下簡稱海大）於2月26日再度熱烈歡迎來自菲律賓頂尖學府 Mapúa 大學（Mapúa University） 由該校副校長 Delia B. Senoro 女士親自率領之85人師生代表團。此次訪問不僅是對過去成功交流的肯定，更為海大團隊於今日（3月2日）正式回訪菲律賓、深化雙邊實體合作揭開序幕。

承先啟後，鞏固兩校戰略夥伴關係 活動由海大顧承宇副校長代表校方致歡迎詞。顧副校長在致詞中感性回顧了兩校頻繁且紮實的互動歷史，包含去年百人團的壯觀規模，以及18位 Mapúa 實習生在海大校園留下的專業交流足跡。隨後由 Mapúa 大學 Delia B. Senoro 副校長致答謝詞，雙方進行禮品致贈並合影，象徵兩校合作邁入新的里程碑。

專業對接，聚焦河工與災防主題 在學術交流環節，由本校河海工程學系（河工系）團隊主持。除簡介系所現況，更特別邀請三位老師針對天然災害防治、土地滑坡監測及河工專業等核心主題分享研究方向，針對台菲兩國相似的地質與氣候挑戰尋求進一步合作可能。

實地觀摩，考察頂尖科研試驗場域 為了讓85位來賓深入了解海大的研究量能，校方安排了重點科研基地的實地考察：

• 海工館：展示大規模水槽試驗及海岸工程相關設備。
• 水生動物實驗中心：展現海大在跨領域自動化監測與生命科學研究設施的整合實力。

展望未來，海大團隊今日啟程回訪 此次接待圓滿落幕後，海大專業團隊已準備就緒，於今日（3月2日）正式出發回訪菲律賓 Mapúa 大學。屆時將進一步就學術交換、長期實習計畫及具體合作案進行深談，持續深化兩校在河工與減災科技領域的戰略夥伴關係。

Building on the momentum of last year’s 150-member visit and the successful internship of 18 students, National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) warmly received an 85-member delegation of faculty and students from Mapúa University on February 26. The delegation was led by Vice President Delia B. Senoro. This visit reinforces the strong ties between the two institutions as the NTOU team departs for a reciprocal visit to the Philippines today, March 2.

A Growing Strategic Partnership NTOU Vice President Cheng-Yu Ku welcomed the delegation, reflecting on the robust history of interaction, including the 18 Mapúa interns who recently contributed to the NTOU academic community. Following a reciprocal greeting from Vice President Delia B. Senoro, both parties exchanged gifts to symbolize their enduring friendship and commitment to future collaboration.

Academic Focus: River Engineering and Disaster Prevention The Department of River and Ocean Engineering hosted the academic session, where three faculty members presented on key themes: Natural Disaster Prevention, Landslide Monitoring, and River Engineering. These discussions aimed to align research priorities for future collaborations, addressing shared geological and climatic challenges in Taiwan and the Philippines.

Facility Tours for 85 Visitors To showcase NTOU’s research excellence, the 85 guests toured:

• Hydro-Engineering Laboratory: Featuring large-scale wave flumes and coastal engineering infrastructure.
• Aquatic Animal Center: Demonstrating integrated automated monitoring and life science research facilities.

NTOU Team Departs for Return Visit Today As a direct follow-up to this successful reception, the NTOU professional team departs today, March 2, for Mapúa University in the Philippines to finalize plans for academic exchanges, long-term internship programs, and specific collaborative projects.
