Dear students who register for Lunar New Year dinner gathering:
The Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has just released a new guideline in conducting mass gatherings. This intervention is due to the increasing number of COVID-19 local transmissions in Northern Taiwan for the past few days. With this new development, we regret to inform you that there will be a change of plan for our upcoming Lunar New Year Celebration this 3rd of February 2021. We will still continue with the event, but we decided to change the location, and some parts of the program will be lessened. Please take note that instead of having it at the Evergreen Hotel as earlier decided, we will now hold it at the Exhibition Hall (just across the Library) here in NTOU at 5:00 PM, on the same date. As much as we wanted to give all of you a grand Chinese new year celebration this year, everyone's safety and protection is our utmost concern. Rest assured that we will still be distributing the 'red' envelope for those who will attend. A sumptuous dinner in a meal box will also be prepared for everyone to enjoy as well. Let us all be cautious, healthy, and safe. We will also see you during the event.
Please be reminded to wear a mask the entire time during the event; see you all.
Date : 3 February 2021 (Wednesday)
Time : 5:00-6:00PM
Place : Exhibition Hall, NTOU
Regards,
Joyce
