Dr. Hsiao-Chun Tseng awarded the 6thOcean Research Award from the Oceanographic Society in Taiwan!!!
Dr. Hsiao Chun Tseng is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Institute of Marine Environment and Ecology and also a Director of Division of International Student Affairs in National Taiwan Ocean University. Her research focus includes human activities effects on Greenhouse gases (e.g CH4, and N2O) in a large river of Environment and Climate Change and Coastal Management implication. These researches are honored by Oceanographic Society of Republic of China.
Dr. Tseng joined NTOU in 2019. She received Erasmus Mundus Doctoral degree in Marine and Coastal Management with the highest honor (cum laude), Universidad de Cádiz, Spain and had participated in Taiwan governmental LIFT (Leaders in Future Trends) Program in 2017. In addition to her dedication to marine science research, Dr. Tseng also actively participates in Future Earth Taipei, Ocean KAN workgroup and strongly advocates for the protection of the marine environment and marine life.
The Oceanographic Society of Republic of China established award committee in 2015. This ocean research award aims to encourage young scholar participating in marine survey.
