In order to let foreign students quickly adjust to their new life in Taiwan., the NTOU Office of the International Affairs (OIA) held an orientation and welcomed new international students on October 17th. The OIA invited the Foreign Affairs Section of Keelung City Police Bureau, the Occupational Safety and Health Center of NTOU and the Dean and the Directors of the OIA to give speeches to the students, hoping to assist foreign students familiarize with the university environment soon.

      The OIA invited the Foreign Affairs Section of Keelung City Police Bureau to share important information on traffic safety, fraud prevention, and anti-drug uses. In addition, the Occupational Safety and Health Center of NTOU gave a briefing on the Safety and Health Manual which the students must follow when they are in the laboratory. The Dean and the Directors of the OIA also showed up at the orientation and illustrated various resources of scholarships to the students. They answered questions from the students and helped the students to get to know more about NTOU. The orientation ended with fun photo-taking to capture the precious moment. We hope students join the family of NTOU and enjoy their life at NTOU.
