A delegation led by Dr. Theresa B. Dimalanta, Vice President of Cagayan State University (CSU) in the Philippines, visited NTOU on January 30-31 for a two-day exchange aimed at enhancing collaborative efforts between the two institutions.
Over the past three years, both universities have successfully organized various online international conferences and now seek to deepen cooperation through physical exchanges.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in extensive discussions with NTOU's departments, including Environmental Biology and Fisheries Science, Aquaculture, Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Center, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science. The discussions focused on collaborative initiatives such as joint research, faculty and student exchange programs, scholarships, and recruitment of international students. Additionally, plans for joint seminars in August and December were discussed to further promote academic exchange and collaboration.
This visit strengthens the partnership between Cagayan State University and National Taiwan Ocean University, laying a solid foundation for broader future collaboration.
