WHAT: 2021 Engineering Camp for Overseas Students in Taiwan - Engineering for Better Living

WHEN: July 6-9, 2021

WHERE: Sinotech R&D Building, 280 Xinhu Road, Neihu District, Taipei, Taiwan

ORGANIZERS: Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Inc., Sinotech Foundation for Research and Development of Engineering Science & Technologies, Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Ltd. 

ELIGIBILITY: Graduate and undergraduate students with ASEAN and South Asian Nationality, from the departments of civil, hydraulic, environmental engineering, or geology of the invited universities in Taiwan. Applicants should be proficient in English.  

OBJECTIVE: We are offering graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in our engineering summer camps. Our camps provide an in-depth understanding of engineering practices regarding infrastructure projects in Taiwan through lectures and site visits guided by experienced engineers from Sinotech Engineering Consultants. Participants will gain a sense of how engineering professionals build better environments as well as a chance to be placed in Sinotech's overseas development talent pool.  

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: English

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 04, 2021

MAXIMUM PARTICIPANTS: 30 (Applicants are selected based on their eligibility, order of application, university, department, and country of origin.)

REGISTRATION FEE: The organizers are responsible for all programs, food, and lodging expenses. Students from outside the cities of Taipei and New Taipei will receive reimbursement for their transportation costs based on the calculated Tze-Chiang Limited Express train fares).

Note: This camp will be taught and explained in English. Participants are required to present their accomplishments in English.
