Semester Begins

Apply for 2025 Fall Semester

Step1: Check the qualification for the application as foreign degree-seeking students. Please refer to “Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan” legislated by Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan.

Step2: Read the “2024-2025 Admission Brochure for International Students”. DownloadPDF&WORD

Step3: Check and make sure the degree or programs you apply available (Here). *Bachelor degrees are not availible for Spring Class.

Step4: Start applying

  • Fill in the application form online
  • Upload all required documents online (uploading system is built in the application form)
  • Submit your application
    • After submitting, you must see this message page to confirm that the application has been successfully submitted. If this page does not appear, it means the application has failed.
    • Please ensure that you complete the form in one go and avoid leaving the page idle for too long to prevent network timeouts and potential submission failures.
  • Check the results announcement on mainpage and your email box.
 

Eligibility 申請資格

  • Do not have Nationality of Republic of China and Do not meet the following conditions:
  1. Possesses overseas Chinese student status or has ever applied / studied in R.O.C. as an overseas Chinese student
  2. Has applied and obtained a high school diploma as an international student in R.O.C. and would like to pursue a further degree
  3. Has been expelled by a university or college in R.O.C.
  4. Holds nationality of Hong Kong or Macau or People's Republic of China.
  • Applicants for the bachelor's program must hold a high school diploma. Applicants for the master's program must hold a bachelor's degree. Applicants for the doctoral program must hold a master's degree.
  • According to the Medium of Instruction, having language proficiency certificate with Chinese B2 or English B1 (either one)
 

Scholarship Condition 獎學金條件

  • NTOU Scholartship for International Student 海大外籍生獎學金:
    1. Full tuition waiver 學雜費全免
    2. Monthly allowance of USD 260-400 (the scholarship amount is not fixed and is subject to the decision of the scholarship committee every year). 生活助學金臺幣8000元-12000元
  • South East Asia and Africa Elite Scholarship Program. 新南向及非洲獎學金: Monthly stipend of USD 800.每個月臺幣25000元補助
  • ICDF Scholarship:
    1. For Student Apply for the International Master Program in Aquaculture Technology and Management.
    2. Full tuition, dormitory, textbook cost waiver and Air ticket.
    3. Monthly stipend of USD 630 (Doctoral)

Reauired Documents

  • A e-copy of passport
  • A e-copy 2-inch frontal photos
  • Affidavit with signature
  • A research / study plan
  • An authenticated photocopy of degree certificate
  • An authenticated official transcript
  • A financial statement (with an amount of at least 150,000 NTD should be available in the account or a certificate of Taiwan government's scholarship)
  • NTOU scholarship application form
  • Chinese or English language proficiency test transcript (Either Chinese A2 or English B1)
