【News】NTOU College of Ocean Law and Policy Signs Cooperation Agreement with Nihon University’s College of Law to Promote Bilateral Faculty and Student Exchange
To further strengthen international academic collaboration and broaden students’ global perspectives, the College of Ocean Law and Policy at National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) recently signed a cooperation agreement with the College of Law of Nihon University. The agreement establishes a formal framework for faculty and student exchange, under which both institutions will nominate up to two exchange students per academic year and promote academic visits and collaborative research between faculty members.
During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on academic cooperation and student exchange mechanisms prior to the formal signing of the agreement. In addition to facilitating student mobility, the partnership will encourage joint research initiatives and faculty exchanges, further enhancing international linkages in the fields of law, political science, and marine law.
Notably, NTOU’s College of Maritime Science and Management had previously established a cooperative relationship with Nihon University’s College of Law. With the College of Ocean Law and Policy now joining the partnership, the scope of collaboration has been expanded, reinforcing inter-college cooperation between the two universities. NTOU welcomes students from both colleges to take advantage of this opportunity to study and exchange at Nihon University and broaden their international perspectives.
The signing of this agreement represents a concrete milestone in NTOU’s ongoing internationalization efforts and lays a solid foundation for long-term and sustainable academic collaboration between the two institutions.
